I received this homemade card on Easter 1988 during my first year of theology. I remember it being the loneliest day I spent there. This card brightened it for me, and I have kept it ever since. Unfortunately, I don't remember who the Michael was who gave it to me. The front of the card reads in Greek,from John 11:25, " I am the resurrection."

Checking in your blog to see what is going on with you. I didn't write you that card, but it's a good one. I remember those days and that occasional loneliness. My father passed on Feb. 2nd. He had Alzheimer's for 6 years. I helped take care of him. He died in bed surrounded by family while we prayed the Litany of the Saints. Beautiful. Hope you are well. Hermes
